Karl is correct. But an idea that may help in the future is to create a duplicate of your course prior to editing. Having a copy on stand-by allows you to copy content over from the duplicate should a lesson be accidentally deleted.

When you delete a lesson or a block, you'll see an option to Undo the deletion in the lower left corner for about 7 seconds. I'll let you know here if we make any changes to the Undo notification!
The new undo notification appears for 12 seconds with a timer indicator. If you need longer than 12 seconds, hover your mouse over the notification to pause the timer. You'll also see multiple notifications when more than one block is deleted.
Let us know if you have any questions about this enhancement!
So, I see this has been a problem in Rise for years. That's unfortunate. It would seem to me that having an undo button SOMEWHERE in the software would be most beneficial for users - and not a notification for 12 seconds! I never even got notified when my lesson deleted off my screen. I swear I hit edit, not delete, and just lost an entire lesson. Having to constantly duplicate your courses every time you need to edit them is not a good solution.

Hi Rashika, unfortunately you cannot retrieve your deleted Lesson.

Those in the community that use BLOCK TEMPLATES will know that when you delete a block, there is a confirmation step as shown below.
We need this same confirmation step for ALL delete functions in Rise, e.g. tables, blocks, Lessons, and Courses.
It is extremely easy to implement from a development point of view.
This would make a huge improvement for all Rise users, and should be the #1 priority in terms of enhancements.
A better solution would be to implement automatic version control into Rise.
yeah, especially for entire lessons!
