Hello everyone, I have been looking for a way to restrict skipping video in Rise 360. I thought that videos couldn't be skipped or the play bar dragged but it can. Has anyone found a way to get around this? I need to have videos in a Rise course play until the end before the learner can advance to the next section. I don't want them skipping around. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi Susan and Lisa! Your screenshot shows that you are using an Embed code, and not embedding the actual video file in your Rise 360 course. The option Karl mentioned is available if you use the Video block type (rather than using a linked video) in the course. Here's a great article that discusses this as well: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/rise-360/video-linking-vs-video-embedding

Hi Lisset Conde,
Go to your video block.
On the left side click on the Format icon.
On the panel that opens, uncheck the Seeking box.
Thanks soooo much!
Very Helpful. Thanks a lot.
This checkbox is no longer available. Any chance it's coming back?! I need to restrict user's ability to scrub forward.
Hi Lisa,
I just checked and the checkbox is still in the same place as shown in my previous post.
Like Lisa, I do not see the checkbox anymore related to seeking. See screenshot.
